Integrated Contract Management Services

These services are provided by a multidisciplinary team of lawyers, economists and engineers for advice, assistance and representation activities in the following main categories of services:

Contact Management
  • ongoing management of the correspondence with the Beneficiary, the Supervisor and any other stakeholders involved in the Project, throughout the duration of the Project
  • assessment, advice and assistance in the implementation of contractual and legal interpretations of the Contract
  • elaboration and review of all legal contractual position documents, opinions, analyses, notifications, standpoints
  • identification of any potential claims and disputes
Planning
  • analysis of the initial Programme of Works (PoW), any of the revised versions of PoW until present and of other relevant contractual documents with impact on planning and monitoring of PoW
  • elaboration, monitoring and reviewing of PoW in accordance with contractual arrangements
Change management
  • assists in elaboration of Client's proposed Change, including descriptions of affected works, quantities, cost analysis against prices, contract bids and other associated costs
  • contractual and legal rationale to support the Change, including Change classification, payment mechanism and impact on time, including analysis of delays or any other impact on PoW or Project time and costs, together with supporting documents
Claim management:
  • constant and permanent anticipation of any event that could lead to a claim from the Contractor, impact analysis, possible consequences and necessary actions according to technical, contractual and legal requirements and provisions
  • assessment of the event to determine and evaluate the consequences, which may include the following: delay of execution time, additional costs (direct costs), additional indirect costs, additional profit, loss of opportunity, etc.
  • preparation of presentation, technical, contractual and legal argumentation, supporting documents, critical path analysis, quantitative analysis, together with all relevant related activities, based on the established strategy and legal and contractual provisions
  • elaboration and tracking of specific claim-related correspondence according to contractual mechanisms - notifications, detailed claims, updated claims in case of continuing events, final claim
